Welcome to a new year!

Thyme of Your Life Photography has made some changes in pricing and session structure. Please see my pricing web page to get the full picture. Here are some highlights:

• Session fee will be the only up front cost. ($35 for milestone sessions, which are all non-newborn sessions, and $100 for newborn)
• We can string more than one session together if you are looking for more than one set up.
• Packages focus on prints, canvases and cards.
• I will offer a stylized portrait sessions once a month.
• Upcoming themes will be posted on the blog.

I look forward to working with babies and children this year! Planning a custom portrait experience for your little one would be an honor! Please message me to schedule your child's portrait session! And if you are expecting a baby, message me around 3 months in advance of your due date to pencil in a general date for a custom newborn session!

Change is a Comin'

January 1st, I will be celebrating the one year anniversary of Thyme of Your Life Photography. It's been a fantastic year of learning. I've taken a lighting class (Thank you Milky Way!) that has really helped me to offer sessions at any time, because I am no longer dependent on weather and sun. I've also been learning by trial and error about running a business.

One thing I've found is that only offering digital files isn't consistently meeting my clients needs. Sure posting them on Facebook is fun, but so often they stay in digital format and never see the light of day in print format. My goal is to create precious memories and treasured moments to savor. Beginning January 1st, my session format and pricing will change to reflect this goal. Please sign up for my newsletter to keep up to date on changes, model calls and mini session themes.

Another idea I've been mulling, and would love feedback on, is the possibility of creating a calendar. I would take an image from each month's themed mini session for the content. Please let me know if that is something you'd be interested in!

3 Month Old D aka "The Little Man"

I got to spend a morning with this little guy. I love his expressions...and hair :) I took little D's newborn portraits so he signed up for my model call just in time for his three month session. We'll be seeing more of him over the next 9 months!

Model Call

My model for this past year is going to be one year old soon!

Odin

I am looking for one new newborn a month (through December 2014) to model for me.  It will be a year commitment as I would like to document the Newborn, 3, 6, and 9 month and 1 year milestones. The only cost to you is the additional full resolution images, if you choose to purchase them. (and any cute outfits that you decide you need for photos :) )

What is included for models:

• Session images that are web ready (not suitable for printing but great for Facebook)
• One full resolution digital image of your choice with print release for each sitting
• Option to buy more full resolution images ($25 each)

What I am asking of my models and their family:

• Opportunity to take portraits of the baby at Newborn stage (less than 14 days), 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year. This will happen in my studio in Puyallup, WA.
• Permission to use the images for promoting my business, including print ads, Facebook, website, email and blog.
